Specialised Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring as a primary feedback mechanism. It is a process of finding out from the person using the technique of muscle monitoring where they are adapting appropriately and where not. Through the application of various protocols and techniques this uncovers and helps release and /or reframes unresolved issues, hurts, pain and resentments.  These are often physically stored in the body and can lead to stress, tension, fatigue, lowered immune functioning & even weight issues. Specialised Kinesiology may help with; General Fatigue, Allergies, Learning difficulties, Insomnia, Low self Esteem, Digestive disorders, Skin Problems, Stress & Anxiety, Sinusitis, Past Trauma, Sports Injuries, Fears and Phobias, Chronic Pain, Goal Setting,  Weight Issues.
It is important to understand that Kinesiologists do not diagnose or treat specific illness because they do not work according to the “medical model” of disease. Rather, they work within an entirely different paradigm, that of balancing the body’s energy systems so the innate wisdom of the body can heal itself. Kinesiology is complementary to orthodox medicine, and works with, not against it.
Conditions of Package:
You need to pay the full amount before or at the first session.

Preventing Snotty Noses this Winter

PREVENTING SNOTTY NOSES THIS WINTERSNOTTY NOSES

Prevention is better that cure!! So preventing snotty noses this winter, not only for our children but for ourselves should be our AIM! The key to preventing snotty noses/colds/flu is to have a healthy immune system! Ultimately a BODY IN BALANCE.

What is the immune system?

The immune system protects the body from harmful viruses, bacteria and pathogens. There are various organs and systems involved in the immune system.

  • The Lymphatic system – protects against the invasion of microbes, viruses, and bacteria. The lymphatic system transports and stores lymphocytes; Lymphocytes are white blood cells produced by healthy bone marrow and they destroy cancer cells and microbes etc either by releasing poisonous or cytotoxic substance or by producing antibodies (proteins). Rounds up the baddies in various tissues or organs (like the tonsils) and destroys them with the  lymphocytes or macrophages. The lymph nodes, tonsils, spleen and thymus gland all play a role in this system.
  • The Skin – Physical Barrier to entrance of microbes. Acid Ph of the skin would discourage the growth of microbes. Sebum, perspiration, saliva, nasal secretions and tissue fluids and gastric secretions contain antibacterial substances.
  • Mucus membranes/mucus trap microbes.
  • Hairs – filter microbes and dust in nose.
  • Urine – washes microbes from the body.
  • Fecal matter/vomiting – another way to expel pathogens and microbes from the body.
  • Inflammation – confines and destroys microbes and repairs tissues.
  • Fever – intensifies the effects of interferon (a protein produced by cells in response to foreign RNA like viruses, which prevents the viruses replicating), inhibits growth of microbes and speeds up reaction that aid repair.

As you see, it’s not always a bad thing to have a snotty nose!! Your body is doing what it is meant to be doing!

What suppresses or weakens the immune system?

If your immune system is not functioning optimally it will result in reduced resistance to disease. Frequent colds and flu, and other disease can manifest.

  • Overeating cooked foods “one of the most alarming studies by medical researchers found that a diet full of cooked foods may cause the reduction of brain tissue and the swelling of the key organs. Cooked food also overworks the endocrine glands” “overeating of cooked food also compromises the overall immune system” (Dr. Gillian McKeith – you are what you eat) Leukocytosis, the abnormal increase of the white blood cells, is like the body constantly fighting an infection.
  • Refined and processed foods with chemicals and preservatives.
  • Refined Sugar, white or brown suppresses the Immune system and the endocrine system. Don’t forget about hidden sugars. Can suppress the Immune system for up to 7 hours!!
  • Incomplete digestion – we are what we absorb!!!
  • Animal protein – take a lot of energy for your body to digest animal proteins / acidic to system / added hormones
  • Pollution – air pollution, water pollution, Electromagnetic fields.
  • Stress – emotional stress (Specialised Kinesiology can benefit greatly here!)
  • An Acid forming diet.
  • Parasites –  Destroy cells faster than they can regenerated, produce toxic substances, Irritate and invade body tissue, including skin and intestinal lining, Upset the balance of organ function, Depress the immune system, cause nutrient malabsorption.
  • Dehydration – water is needed for many different functions in the body such as transportation of nutrients, eliminating toxins, temperature maintenance, brain function, needed for all cells to function properly!

What can we do to support our immune system?

  • Eat at least one fruit meal per day
  • Raw veggies/salad before any cooked foods
  • Read labels – avoid foods with preservative and additives
  • Use herbal or Himalayan salts
  • Use natural sweetners like honey, stevia, xylitol instead of refined sugars and artificial sweetners.
  • Chew your food well. Digestion begins in the mouth. The saliva in your mouth has enzymes that digest carbohydrates that are found in, for example, sweet potatoes, potatoes and bread. If you chew your food well, all the nutrients are released and the food is digested and absorbed better.
  • Limit your animal protein intake to only once a day (preferably organic and hormone free)
  • Learn effective ways of dealing with stress.
  • Parasite cleansing every 6 months
  • Alkaline forming diet
  • Hydration – proper hydration is important. Drink when you are thirsty, add fruit juice ice cubes to water to encourage children to drink water. Liqui Fruit and Ceres 100% fruit juices.

 Dr. Edmond Szekely’s Health Study

He studied the health benefits of Raw Live Food on 120,000 people over a 33 year period. He concluded that there were 4 categories of food:

1.     Bioacidicthese are destructive foods – they degrade life functions e.g foods processed with chemicals, preservative, irradiation or which have been genetically modified.

2.     Biostaticthese do nothing to improve one’s health e.g cooked foods or foods that are just not fresh.

3.     Bioactive these sustain a healthy life force e.g fresh raw fruits & vegetables, seeds, beans, legumes & nuts.

4.     Biogenic Life-enhancing, strengthening, revitalising, high-energy superfoods e.g all fresh sprouted grains, seeds, legumes & nuts.

Supplementation

  • Probiotics – Probiotics don’t just give pathogenic bacteria a hard time, they positively boost your immune system. Also important in treatment of allergies, as well as infections caused by viruses, parasites and yeasts such as Candida albacans. Also helpful in treating bladder infections.
  • AIM BarleyLife – BarleyLife contains 16 vitamins, 23 minerals, “live” enzymes, essential amino acids, and chlorophyll. Anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, increases energy, stabilizes blood sugar, strengthens immune system. One teaspoon is like having 4 bunches of spinach organically grown, and just picked!
  • AIM Para 90 – cleanses parasites/worms from body.
  • AIM Digestive Enzymes –  Prepzymes aids digestion, supplements body’s enzyme supplies.
